This Korean rice cake, called SongPyeon, is EASY to make and absolutely delicious. SongPyeon is made with a variety of stuffings. Today, I'll show you one of my favorite SongPyeon stuffings using honey and sesame seeds.

🌱The name of this rice cake, called SongPyeon, comes from the use of fresh pine needles to steam the rice cakes, adding the refreshing pine-needle aromatics. So if you have fresh pine needles, add them to the steamer basket.

1 Cup 컵 Rice Flour 쌀가루
½ Teaspoon 작은술 Salt 소금
½ Cup 컵 Hot Water Hot Water 뜨거운 물
1 Tablespoon 큰술 Hot Water 뜨거운 물
Honey Sesame Seed Filling 송편 꿀참깨소 만들기
2 Tablespoons 큰술 Sesame Seeds (to be crushed)
¼ Teaspoon 작은술 Salt 소금
2 Tablespoons 큰술 Sesame Seeds 참깨
1 Tablespoon 큰술 Brown Sugar 흑설탕
2 Tablespoons 큰술 Honey 꿀
Ice Water 얼음물
Sesame Oil 참기름
