Step One

Preheat a medium size pot for about 1 minute on high heat. Then add 1 Tablespoon 큰술 Extra Virgin Olive Oil 식용유 to the pot. Then quickly add the following ingredients:

  • 5 oz Canned Tuna 참치통조림 (remove the tuna to a plate and break up the meat. Discard any excess liquid/oil in the can)

  • 1 Minced Scallion 다진 쪽파

  • 1 Teaspoon 작은술 Minced Garlic 다진 마늘

  • 1 Teaspoon 작은술 GoChuGaRu 고춧가루

  • 1 Small Pinch 작은 꼬집 Grated Fresh Ginger 간생강

  • 2 Tablespoon 큰술 Minced Kimchi 다진 김치

Sauté on high heat for about 30 minutes on high heat. A slight browning of the tuna will create a deeper taste to the broth.

Step Two

With the stove heat remaining at high, add the following:

  • 3 Cup 컵 Hot Water 뜨거운 물

  • 1 Neoguri 너구리 라면

Cover with the lid halfway, and cook the noodles for 1.5 minutes on high heat. Quickly transfer the cooked noodles to a bowl. If the cooked noodles continue remaining in the hot pot (even after you turn off the stove heat), it will continue cooking the noodles, which will turn into bloated overcooked noodles.

Step Three

Garnish with scallions, and a light drizzle of sesame oil on top. Cooked instant ramen is best enjoyed when eaten within a few minutes of cooking.
