Step One

Bring 2.5 cups of water to boil. Add your Korean ramen and its powder packets to the boiling pot of water. Keep the stove heat at high and cook the noodles for 1.5 minutes. Make sure to move the noodles around. Remove the noodles to a bowl.


Then quickly add the following ingredients to the pot:

  • 11 oz Soft/Silken Tofu ์ˆœ๋‘๋ถ€ (roughly break up the tofu in the pot)

  • 2 Tablespoons ํฐ์ˆ  Cubed spam ๋‹ค์ง„ ์ŠคํŒธ (๐ŸŒฑVegan cooked/canned garbonzo or cannellini beans, corn, and/or green peas)

  • 1 Tablespoon ํฐ์ˆ  Minced Onion ๋‹ค์ง„ ์–‘ํŒŒ

  • 1 Minced Scallion ๋‹ค์ง„ ์ชฝํŒŒ

  • 1 Minced garlic clove ๋‹ค์ง„ ๋งˆ๋Š˜

  • 1/2 Teaspoon ์ž‘์€์ˆ  GoChuGaRu ๊ณ ์ถง๊ฐ€๋ฃจ

Cover with the lid, lower the stove heat to medium, and cook for 1.5 to 2 minutes.


Step Two

While the soup is simmering, gently air toss the cooked ramen noodles for about 30 seconds, using tongs. Then using kitchen shears, cut the noodles into half. One half of the noodles, leave as is. Then second half, cut the noodles into small bite lengths. EATING TIP: Once I'm done slurping the long noodles, the bite size length noodles, I use a spoon to scoop it up with the soft tofu and broth. Making a perfect spoonful of ramen noodle bites soaked in the spicy broth with that velvety soft tofu๐Ÿ˜‹


Step Three

Pour the soft tofu broth to the ramen bowl. Garnish with scallions, and a few slices of red and green peppers.
