FASTEST & EASIEST Way To Light A Charcoal Grill: NO LIQUID FLUID! (Looftlighter + Big Green Egg)

Do you love the taste of grilling on pure charcoal but hate the hassle of starting the charcoal and nursing it to reach its optimal flame to keep it burning??? Well, I have the solution for you! This literally saves me so much time and my charcoals are lit in minutes! YES, without using LIQUID FLUIDS. Yuck, I simply hate the taste of the chemicals on my grilled food from the liquid fluids. Even after the liquid fluids burnout, you can still taste it...:-/

Of course, using hardwood lump charcoal is ideal, especially when using Big Green Egg/ceramic charcoal. Hardwood lump charcoal retains its heat better and creates less ash, when compared to briquettes.

You should ALWAYS follow the manufacturer's instructions

Below is simply how I use the Looftlighter:

- Clean out any ashes and resides from the bottom vent area and inside the grill of the Big Green Egg or your charcoal grill.

- Leave the bottom vent wide open.

- Fill the grill with the desired amount of charcoal.

- Pick 3 to 4 areas on top of the pile of the charcoal to ignite.

- Using your Looftlighter, place the tip in between the charcoal and press down on the power switch to begin. Once you see smoke and fire on the charcoal (which should take place in less than 15 seconds), release the power switch. Continue the process with the other sections of the charcoal that you wish to ignite.

- Once you started the fire on the areas of the charcoal, "re-spray" the heat ignited areas again with the Looftlighter for about 5 to 10 seconds (holding the Looflighter 6 inches away from the charcoal).

- Close the lid of the Big Green Egg or your charcoal grill.

- Leave the top vent wide open.

- Once the black color of the charcoal are gone, put your grill plate on (let it warm up for at least 5 minutes), you can starting grilling/BBQing away!
