DolSot BiBimBap/Stone Bowl Bibimbap = 돌솥비빔밥
DolSot 돌솥 = Stone Pot
Bibim 비빔 = To Mix/Mixed
Bap 밥 = Cooked Rice
NuRungJi 누룽지 = Crunchy golden rice on the bottom of the pot.

1 Tablespoon 큰술 Oil
1 Tablespoon 큰술 Salted Butter
2 Cups 컵 Cooked Korean Rice 밥 (single serve pot)
5 Cups 컵 Cooked Korean Rice 밥 (large stone platter)
INSTRUCTIONS To Make Crunchy Golden Rice 돌솥비빔밥 누룽지
1. Preheat your Korean stone pot HIGH heat for 4 minutes. 센 불로 4분 예열한다.
You can also use TtukBaeGi (Korean earthenware pot 뚝배기). OR a heavy cast iron skillet. Korean stone pot and cast iron skillet links are listed below.
2. After preheating, add the oil and butter together and melt on HIGH heat (강불).
예열 후 버터와 식용유를 넣어줍니다.
3. Once the butter melts, add the rice (강불).
버터가 녹으면 밥을 넣습니다.
4. Gently press down to flatten the rice. Stove heat remains HIGH (강불).
밥을 살짝 누르십시오.
5. Leave it alone for 4 minutes on HIGH heat.
강한 불에 4분간 놔둡니다.
6. Turn off the heat and let it rest for 3 minutes.
불을 끄고 3분간 그대로 둡니다
7. Add the bibimbap toppings right before serving. If you add the vegetable topping while the rice is heating up, the vegetables will get soft from the hot heat from the pot.
