Where To Buy Choco Pies
If you go to any mom-and-pop Korean grocery store, they'll always have the Original Flavored Choco Pies. I mean, I have never been to a Korean grocery store and never not seen boxes of Choco Pies on the shelf, no matter how small the store is. Now, these other flavors of Choco Pies, you'll find them at BIG Korean Supermarkets. And sometimes, these big supermarkets may not have these flavors in stock all the time. And, if you don't live near a BIG Korean Supermarket, you can conveniently order them online.

How To Make Choco Pie Ice Cream Sandwich:
Using a butter knife, gently separate the marshmallow from the bottom layer of the Choco Pie (as shown in the video).
Place a scoop of your favorite ice cream and place on a sheet of saran wrap/plastic wrap. Then wrap the ice cream, pulling the four corners up and twisting. Place the wrapped ice cream in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes to harden the ice cream.
Unwrap the ice cream from the saran wrap and place the ice cream on the bottom layer of the separated Choco Pie. Then place the top layer of the Choco Pie on top of the ice cream and gently squeeze the Choco Pie. (Alternatively, you can add a small squeeze of chocolate syrup on the inside of the separated layers of the Choco Pie, to add another layer of that sweet chocolate taste. The chocolate syrup will also act as the "glue" to your Choco Pie Ice Cream Sandwich.
How To Make Microwaved Choco Pie À La Mode:
Place a Choco Pie on a plate and heat up in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds. (Depending on your microwave, it may take less or more time.) Now, stay in front of the microwave and keep an eye on it. You want to just warm up the Choco Pie so that the marshmallow is "blooming." If you over microwave it, it will just turn into a messy glob. Now, the key is to consume your microwaved Choco Pie right away. If you let the microwaved Choco Pie sit around, it will harden and the melted marshmallow will taste like hard rubber. Serve the warm Choco Pie on a plate with a scoop of your favorite ice cream. You can garnish with slices of strawberry, skinny drizzles of chocolate syrup, light dusting of fine sugar powder, and a sprig of fresh mint.
And of course, dipping your favorite Choco Pie (recommend cutting in half so the milk and coffee soaks into the cake...so YUM🥰) in a glass of cold milk or hot coffee is the simplest way to enjoy!
